A new look event for a new
world of pharmacy |
|
Pharmacists and their professional body, the Royal Pharmaceutical
Society of Great Britain – the hosts of BPC – are taking forward an
enormous amount of change over the next year and beyond. BPC the
leading event for pharmacists in the UK is changing to reflect this
revolution.
New roles for pharmacists, working at
every level in and alongside the NHS, heralded by the 2008 White Paper
and the Darzi Review mean that pharmacists need up to date information
and support to deliver the new challenges. In addition in 2010 a new
regulatory framework will be introduced that will impact on the
professional lives of every pharmacist in the country.
The Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain recognises this and
is leading the way in developing new ways of working. In particular we
have made sure that BPC is adapted to provide all of the interest,
information and support needed for its members at this historical
point in the profession. |
